Proposal on Innovative, Interactive, On-line Tutorials for

    High School/ College /Engineering-Applied  Physics

This program will significantly help all students aspiring to enter the engineering, applied physics and medical services. All professionals in these fields require a strong understanding of college level physics.

This On-line/CD tutorial program will reinforce the more difficult but essential topics in physics that are needed to develop a beneficial  analytical scientific mind.

The following screenshots are from a demonstration of the proposed On-line/CD Physics Tutorials Program incorporating interactive simulations. Though static they indicate the new presentation and interactive techniques available using modern software technology and advanced web programming.

The examples are simulations  real life applications of Newton’s Laws, Radiation Laws and Maxwell’s equations – all essential understanding for science professionals.  The numerical examples are brought within the reach of all those seeking to train for professional status and are designed to augment conceptual understanding with numerical rigor.

    This program will:-

    1. Help to Students’ understanding by providing:

    ·         Usual Lecture room material on the more difficult topics available for review at any time on line or via CD and with video explanations.

    ·         Practice questions using related Interactive Simulations illustrating actual applications with explanations on how fundamental principles have been used in a practical situation.

    ·         Multiple access  to questions with different numerical data on each run in order to provide adequate practice. Correct actual calculations are required in place of selecting from multiple choice answers.

    ·         Detailed breakdown of scores earned on questions available to authorized individuals.

    ·         Audios in English, Spanish and other languages .

    ·         Expression evaluator with versatile graphing tool ( e.g. Cartesian, Logarithmic  and polar coordinates, 3 graphs on one plot etc)

    2. Help to Instructors by providing:

    ·         Unique, ready-made lecture room material and presentation slides on selected topics.

    ·         Auto scored questions that contain input data to homework questions individualized for each student. Scores are available to authorized personal from a secure database on line.

    ·         Roster program that tabulates students’ total scores by student’s name and also answers’ details by question; available to authorized  individuals .

    ·     Convenient graphing program for answers that may be required to be handed-in to Instructor.
